The electric conductance units in the conductance converter are abmho, ampere/volt, gemmho, kilosiemens, megasiemens, mho, micromho, microsiemens, millimho, millisiemens, second/henry, siemens, statmho. Siemens (S): This is the standard unit for electric conductance in the International System of Units (SI).
The unit for electrical resistance was named after someone named “Ohm,” whereas the unit for electrical conductance was named after someone named “Siemens”, therefore it would be improper to “singularize” the latter unit as its final “s” does not denote plurality.
An Electrical Converter is any device which takes some form of power and converts it to any other form. It can either change the nature of power (ac/dc), can change it’s (voltage/current properties) or can change its phase number or frequency. Practically there are hundreds (if not thousands) of such converters.
